MECHCAD 2026 3D CAD / CAM
Large assemblies, CAM and motion studies use the most CPU, RAM and graphics — use the recommended spec if you do them often.

MCAD 2026 2D CAD · DWG/DXF
MCAD is 2D and light on resources; it runs well on an ordinary laptop.

Web versions
MCAD Web and MECHCAD Web run in current Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge on Windows, macOS or Linux; MECHCAD Web needs WebGL.
Not supported
Windows 32-bit, Windows 7/8.1, and the desktop apps on macOS/Linux (use the web versions). MECHCAD over Remote Desktop or in virtual machines is not certified (3D display needs the local graphics card).
