Try it: Find the commands for a bookshelf elevation

You want a 1.8 m bookshelf with 5 evenly spaced shelves, but you cannot remember the name of the repeat-in-a-row command. Look it up in the Command Reference.

  1. Press F1 to open the Command Reference and type array in the Filter box. Only the ARRAY commands remain, with their syntax, for example ARRAYRECT <count> [dx] [dy].
  2. Carcass: REC 0,0, then 900 Tab 1800, and the inside REC 18,18, then 864 Tab 1764 (18 mm boards).
  3. First shelf: REC 18,300, then 864 Tab 18.
  4. Select the shelf and type ARRAYRECT 5 0 350. You get 5 shelves 350 mm apart.
  5. Kick plate: REC 18,0, then 864 Tab 80.

900 x 1800 bookshelf with 5 shelves
900 x 1800 bookshelf with 5 shelves

Challenge: Type hatch in the Filter box and work out how to give the kick plate a LINE pattern so it reads as timber.
